Though tiny, mosses should not be overlooked. Like larger plants, mosses contribute to the absorption of CO2 levels as well. Through observing them we can shift to a micro scale to recontextualise our impact on the environment. In the north east Marshes there is an area that is home to mosses almost all year around. The Cypress-leaved plait-moss can easily be found here on a stone, cement slab, or tree bark.
