Join Sixto-Juan Zavala, founder of Queer Botany, on a tour of the ‘Rooted Beings‘ exhibition, looking at the collection from a queer botanical perspective. We invite you to bring your own stories and experiences of plants to share. How can botany be queered and how can queerness be botanical?

Queer Botany is a project founded by Sixto-Juan Zavala that emerges from the theoretical lens of queer ecology. It studies and affirms connections between queerness and plants through events, story-telling, and design. Sixto-Juan is a designer from the US currently based in London. He holds an MA in Narrative Environments from Central Saint Martins.
