The RHS Lindley Library has teamed up with Queer Botany for this special workshop.
Join designer and illustrator Edward Luke Thrush as we explore the connection between queer identity, environment, community and transforming spaces.
Discover how Queer Botany can open up different ways of seeing, appreciating and interacting with nature.
Using POSCA pens inspired by the colours of the Pride flag, and botanical cuttings from urban survivor species, we will create botanical inspired illustrations.
The purpose of the session is to be a safe and relaxing event where (primarily) queer people can come together and be creative.
All skill levels are encouraged to attend and all materials are provided.
Doors open at 6.00pm, with the workshop beginning at 6.15pm.
Tickets are required for the event, with the £5 ticket cost supporting the RHS Lindley Library.
For any questions, including accessibility enquiries, please email library@rhs.org.uk
